November 20, 2020 MCALLEN, TX – Moderna recently announced that their COVID-19 vaccine candidate reduced the risk of contracting the virus by 94.5% in their study of 30,000 participants. Centex Studies and the Rio Grande Valley area residents accounted for 700 of those participants, but the fight is not over!

Adults who qualify and participate with Centex Studies could receive access to the study vaccine at no cost and compensation for study-related time and travel.

That, coupled with a worldwide pandemic, has left us battered and shell shocked, but we WILL prevail. In response, Centex Studies and several other businesses in the local community will be hosting a Hurricane Relief Drive for all those affected by Laura and Delta this year.

October 13, 2020 LAKE CHARLES, LA – Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is conducting research involving their antibody cocktail, REGN-COV2 in non-hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Centex Studies-Lake Charles is proud to announce that they are one of a limited number of research sites working with Regeneron on this project.

Over a thousand patients are still needed to participate in the McAllen area.
September 9, 2020 MCALLEN, TX – Enrollment for the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial began at Centex Studies-McAllen in late-July. As of today, they have officially reached their first milestone and have enrolled over 400 patients. Over a thousand patients are still needed in the McAllen area and thousands more across the nation.
